Urgent Needs
Ruby and Ruth Massey had one daughter. She was killed in an accident in 1997 leaving behind three children the youngest of which was only 2 months old. The father deserted the children within a couple of years. The  grandparents managed to work and care for the three children until two years ago when they both retired without benefits. They struggled and got farther in debt until a few weeks ago they were put out of their rented rooms. When they came to us for help they had been living on the railway platform for five days. Ruth is a grown-up-Kulpahar Kid. The church and some of the individual members paid off their debts and rented them another room. We took the three children into the hostel, but we must have money in order to care for these children. We were stretching our budget to the limit when we previously promised to take in ten children (all just as needy as these three) this school year. We need at least $50 a month each for Sagar age 10, Nidiksha age 9 and little Kajal age 8. We have already gotten glasses for Sagar which he badly needed.
